Dear Nick, Masterwax etc
When is the CD being released with the latest from Blaze, eg Til the day! How can anyone hold a summertime party without these tracks kickin it hard! When can I get the CD, where from, etc!!! Surely on the back of Flip n Fill increased exposure etc, it should sell amazingly!!!
One question for NIck, anything else likely from Smart E's in the future, with the old skool compliations selling well surely there is name recognition! How about a sesame treet esque mix of the Dogtanian(sorry about the spelling) theme tune! Or how about a hardcore mix of the old popcorn tune using base and drums for the tempo and pitch changes(not musical so can't explain it well, but am sure it would sound mint!!! )
Must say a big thanks to the American crew who gave me advice for San Francisco! If you are ever there check out Ameoba records (it is just like the movie Empire records but crazier)!!!
Big up Nick and all his tunes (and hey ravers be glad we know the better version of shooting star, hey maybe we will now have other genres ripping off Hardcore tunes, kind of ironic!!!)
Hardcore will never die!!!

LOL....
heheheh NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO not Sesame Street again!
Seriously, the old skool stuff is great, but we've really run that course with sesame Street. I know that the three of us would LOVE to do a PA again just like we used to (Magnificent, Loos Control, Apollo, and then Sesame Street) but it wont happen...sorry :(
As for the Blaze! CD, well we're still looking for that venue to do the PA where we can film, because we really want to do a full CD with a proper Video as well. It will happen , believe me, and there is a Blaze! album well and truly underway and that will be on CD. Don't get excited over a Bang! album though, that's very unlikely to happen, which is a shame, because as you say, Shooting Star has lifted the profile of Bang! considerably. The snowball is beginning to gather pace and I get emails almost daily asking where people can get the "classic" version of Shooting Star from.
So, the Blaze! album will be very soon, the big question is... mixed or unmixed. Maybe we'll do a double album with 2 cd's to keep everyone happy.
As for tracks, well there's quite a few new ones we've been writing, and so it'll be mostly new fresh stuff, including.....OOOOOOH dare I say a new Shooting Star...
BUT....BEFORE YOU FLAME ME.....
I can do it cos it's my tune. Plus, I've made a few slight adaptations too so it'll be fresher than ever and I can do that because I own it... hehehehehe
I know it'll be a great album, and also a great TTD single, so chill out, and we'll get it out as soon as we can.
Cheers guys
Nick.

OK... how to book a Blaze! gig and what you'll get.
These are the normal prices. Unfortunately for most people we're expensive. It would be cheaper to book a name DJ who plays for a lot longer but then we have more people to pay so theres no way round it.
For anywhere in UK, we charge £600. If the venue is too great a distance for one night, then we may have to add a small amount for accomodation, but this we can talk about. As a rule of thumb, £600 is good.
You'll get a 15-20 minute PA, you can choose which tracks (and which mixes of those tracks) you want us to do from either Bang!, Blaze!, Stealth, Nimrod or Oblivion. Up to 4 tracks in total. Anymore, and the crowd gets bored.
You'll get live vocals (Jo James if she's available), 2 keyboards, 2 professional dancers, and an MC, (or you can use your MC on the night).
You can use any act names (including Bang!/Stealth) on all your flyers to promote the event if you wish.
What we need....
Large stage (at least 15' x 8' = 5m x 3m). This is to accomodate the dancers and vocalist allowing them some movement.
2 Live mics.
CD for backing track.
Closed off changing room with direct access to stage.
2 parking spaces reserved outside the venue.
A deposit at least 2 weeks BEFORE the gig of 50% (£300)
That's about it off the top of my head. Anything I've missed I'll add if we speak.
HOWEVER... we need to do a video, so if you meet all those criteria above, and will have a crowd of at least 1000 and we can film without restriction, we can do the gig for a bargain basement price of £300.
Serious enquiries only though please.
Cheers guys
Nick.

If you really want to include a mix CD, you'll have to go w/ the 2CD option.
It's really not an album if it's mixed :/
£600 eh? Sounds interesting......

Sorry...maybe I wasnt that clear....
say 14 tracks on one cd as they come from all my acts, and then the same 14 mixed together.
I have seen this a few times, (hooj) I suppose its more like a compilation of tracks rather than an album though.
Don't know really.... will have to see public opinion.
Also, this is a topic, but not really yet cos were not ready, but what would be your perfect Blaze!/Bang!/Stealth/Nimrod/Oblivion album..? Whats the track listing you'd like? 14 tracks max, and if it was to be mixed, which DJ would you like to do it?
Cheers
Nick.

in no particular order
bang! - shooting star (brisk's unreleased mix *please* or force & styles mix)
stealth - see me climb (brisk remix)
blaze! - til the day (phosphor remix)
nimrod - shine a light (phosphor remix)
bang! - break of dawn (brisk remix)
bang! - sailaway (trixxy remix)
stealth - this is my life
oblivion - into oblivion (brisk remix)
bang! - hyperspace (brisk remix)
blaze! - crazy little fingers (luna-c remix)
stealth - love, life, and happiness (brisk remix)
bang! - give me a reason (brisk remix)
that's 12. then i guess you could put on more new material. :) that would rock. mixed by either brisk or phosphor

The Force & Styles Album is 2 cd's with one mixed and one not. I think the album would be great....I personally would love DJ Sy to mix the album as his scratching skills are second to none!!!
14 tracks I would say put about 8 classics on there by Bang!,Stealth & Oblivion and the other 6 newer stuff by Blaze & Nimrod.

Two of them are... "Simply Electric" and "Heart of Gold" both have 2 CDs, one mixed, one unmixed. "All Over the UK" is unmixed only.
"bang! - shooting star (brisk's unreleased mix )"
Are you on about the one from "Sound of Happycore 3"?
Well, despite the fact this is obviously fantasy.. I'll go w/ this selection
Bang! - Shooting Star ( Ham mix, F&S mix )
Bang! - Sailaway ( Trixxy mix )
Bang! - Break of Dawn ( Brisk mix )
Bang! - Give me a Reason ( Ham mix )
Stealth - Love Life & Happiness ( Ham mix )
Oblivvion - Into Oblivion ( Brisk mix )
Blaze - Crazy Little Fingers ( Luna-C mix )
Bang!/Blaze - Cloudy Days ( new mix, assuming it's the best ;) )
Nimrod - Shine a Light ( Devestate mix )
With the next two Nimrod releases ( assuming they're good too )
and the subsequent Blaze release ( ditto )
Unfortunately that's 13 tracks, so I guess u'd have to drop off "Into Oblivion" even accounting for the fact that the F&S mix is pretty short.
