Anyone heard any of the stuff by Girl Talk? It's basically a huge number of samples strung together. It's pretty good if you're into that sort of thing. He's got a new album out that you can choose what you pay for (including $0 if you're so inclined).
you can download it here:
http://74.124.198.47/illegal-art.net/__girl__talk___feed__the__anima.ls___/ and they have the tracklisting of samples for each song here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feed_the_Animals definitely worth a listen in my opinion.

Blurg. As far as mash up artists go, they are very good.

^^Er. No.
The Avalanches >>>>>>>>>>>>> Girl Talk.
Girl Talk is all mash-ups of shitty pop music. The Avalanches is brilliant mashups with records etc with live drumming interspersed.

He does, but it's to the point of extreme, the guy is seriously always mashing something, so it's constant.
More like a split between DJ'ing and a live PA.

Yeah, I will admit he is very skilled at that, and he has infinite material, just every single Billboard hit for the last 30 years. Hahaha.
I have yet to see him live, and I hear that's the most important part, so I'll try and catch him in Chicago.

Not so impressive when you know that most of it is not done live!
