Some of those are trancey poo but i definately want Fade & Brisk - Stay, Start the party would be good but for the obvious sample, fly with you also not that bad bit too trancey, Technorocker sounding damn good, Lost also sounding nice.
What do you all recon? None of this trancey crap. Keep it hard.

Here are my votes (out of 5):
"Good In Da Neighbourhood" - Ham - 1 (What the hell was Ham thinking!!!)
"There"s A Heaven" - Ham - 3
"Unlock Ya Brain" - Brisk & Energy - 4 (Choon!! sounds very familiar though)
"Touch Me" - Fade feat. Kelly - 2
"Stay" - Fade & Brisk - 4 (Hehe, Love the Shake Yo A$$ sample, choon!)
"Retro Rush" - Fade & Brisk - 2 (Retro? Where?)
"Start The Party" - Project X - 3
"Fly With You" - Fade - 4 (Awesome vocals, will be adding this one to my box)
"Technorocker" - Kaos & Ethos - 4 (Technnoorraacckkaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...)
"Lost" - Kaos & Ethos - 3
If I was going to one 5 it would either go to Stay or Unlock Ya Brain. It's kinda weird though, there are no breakdowns of any sort in these tunes, I'm sad. As for Ham's track, we don't want any Ragga Caca!!!!! He normally makes and remixes the best tracks around!!! This track shouldn't have made Next Gen/Blatant Beats cut.

Grr! Slut bag website gave me a 404 when I went to post... don't feel like writing out my comments again, so heres the quick and dirty review
Tunes:
Stay Here Forever
Technorocker
Lost
Good tracks:
Fly with you
There's a Heaven
As for Good in Da Neighbourhood... I dunno, its kind of a cool track, but the lack of a breakdown sucks. Definatly not Next Gen/Blatant Beats' normal stuff.

DJ Ham's "good in da neighbourhood". For SURE the best of the lot.. proper breakbeat hardcore bizness!!
i like the other "theres a heaven" and "lost" as well.
i dont like the echoed & filtered trancey boring stuff.

I wasn't thinking eye opener 99 the first time, but when I heard it again it really did sound like it (haha, I'm going to nickname it Return to Eye Opener now ) I was thinking more of a trance track I over heard, and it also sounds like it came from a video game I played a long time ago.
Virus: You always have to have be the odd one. I love breakbeats, but Ham's track is just not him (well, just in this age of hardcore that is ). I see Ham's producing more Energetic; something to get the crowd going, not this.
Oh well, at least someone appreciates it.

Is there anyone else who doesn't like any of the new stuff either (After 2000)? It all sounds almost the same, like Trance, which I hate...

i think the only number out of all of those that really catches me at all would have to be technorocker, i like the samples in it and overall a thumpin catchy number in my book =)

Could you give some examples of good tracks, Virus? I haven't heard anything I like from 2001 or 2002....

Good In Da Neighborhood is great, I love the ragga/dnb/breaky sound to it.
Start The Party also a good one, like Heist said "for the obvious sample".
Unlock Ya Brain was OK.
The rest:
If the songs had female vocals they had a lot of that sound that Cher and Madonna uses (not to fond of that electronic robot vocal sound), and if it didn't have female vocals then it sounded a bit trancey.
Amber-Jade what did you think of Raver Baby 3 - Castles...To me that song sounds like it was made in 96-97ish. and the flip side Dreams...I think its my favorite right now. I love the build up and then the hip hop beat. And her vocals...makes me want to cry.

amber: look at labels like KFA, Raindance, and some of the stuff on Raw Elements (when they finally get stuff out)
the new blaze! records, masterwax, the stuff coming out on rave n beats..
they're more non-trancy hardcore coming out.. but thats a start :)
