This forum drives me insane.
Between the lack of customization for view settings and the lack of support for commonly seen forum code like "website" I lose my mind reading this forum.
I hate only being able to see a small small amount of posts per page in each section so in order to catch up I've now got to go all the way back to page 12 if I've not been here in the last few days.
Any chance this could be updated to give a boost to usability for those of use who are on multiple forums and like to have continuity?

I agree actually. I have been away for a while, and find it near impossible to catch up. :/

Custom code, we would have to build anything new, what sort of views / functions do you want? We have forum code our URL code is different with [ url="website.com"]website[ /url]
Our forum has been running before the URL "forum code" became a standard, been meaning to update for a while now.

Give me examples and suggestions, if you go away for a while and we have 500 new topics when you get back I can't help that :p

I would adore the option to view yours and yours only posts with the search option.
I would also like for you to be able to embed youtube videos.

an alternative solution would be have an option at the bottom of the page or something allowing users to show how many posts per page...
like the normal is what? 15 20? have different options and such like 30 40 50....that could work

Our forum has been running before the URL "forum code" became a standard, been meaning to update for a while now.
Just because phpBB uses it, doesnt mean its a standard. e.g. vBulletin (probably the best non custom forum out there) uses the same url code as this one. I say dont change it.
phpBB used to be good, i use it now on another site i moderate and have to say, its become a big pile of buggy crap. Its constantly targeted by spammers, the "new look" is hated by most people. And what ive heard its a pain to admins that need customized features. Plus its buggy, topics dissappear (not shown on logs so couldnt have been deleted) etc
Dont think theres many features i've wanted more, but some i think would be good:
-25 posts per page would be better then the current 15.
-When you post a reply, it only loads last ~50 posts to the topic review (its a pain to reply to big image topics.)
-Embedded youtube videos. (same way their used in news page.)
-A whole bunch of moderator tools, but i'm not gonna discuss them here. Well, maby a little bit:

I dont think moderators should be able to ban people. But i would like to be able to freeze accounts for say 24 hours.
