Haha some of those msn convos are classic!
Being from Bolton i can tell u that MCing isnt as popular as everyone thinks up here. People do like it, but alot of people (especially girls) hate it, cause it is in all the clubs, every week, the same MCs with the same rhymes.
Some great MCs are still doing good things like Finchy, EM:DMC, G, Race, Cover, Arkie,
but some are terrible like LAYBACK!!!!! OMG how he still gets paid to MC i do not know!!! he is an embarressment
MC Finchy has a really good rhyme about the whole scouse house scene, i dont know the exact words and Im listening to HU3 atm, so cannot think of them but its basically:
Times moved on and musics changed
Turntables are hardly used
CD decks are being abused
...........speakin
MP3s are always leakin
Is the scene dieing?
Coz of love for the main producers
have we really got a future?
Too many MC's not enough mics,
too many badly promoted nights,
too many fights and a smoking ban
is this scene going down the pan?
There are lines missed out hence it not being fluid and not rhyming all the time but they are the main lines
