hey just started to get into drums and bass but im not sure if it is drums and bass or breakcore, wats the difference? is breakcore more freeform?. like is pendulum drums and bass?
also wat are some good drums and bass artist?

Breakcore is more chopped up and random, doesn't sound much like DnB if you look past the fact it uses breakbeats and bass. ;)
It is better than DnB.

breakcore is what you get when you take drum and bass, add hardcore/gabber kicks to it and put it on amphetamines, steroids and hard liquor ;)

Pendulum are popular but it's kinda that new style mainstream drum & Bass.
I'm mainly into Jungle which is pretty much drum & bass...
