i think it's the worst music i've ever ****ing heard. 1. it now just sounds like funky electro house with a different beat. 2. it's defiently for cheesey nobber 30+ people who wear Next jeans and bensherman jumpers who go to cheesey clubs to pick up slags 3. why is it even called 'breaks' when there's not hint of an actual breakbeat used.
oh and the scene is shite too. **** you breaks fans. listen to some muscle music like me

The Electro breaks stuff I don't really like but if you dig a bit deeper there is some fat stuff out there.
I'm 23, I don't wear either of those, don't go to clubs to "pull" and I love breaks. :p
You need to look up the definition of a breakbeat my man. They're not the same as the breakbeats in Oldskool/Hardcore Breaks but that's one of the things that makes it a different genre.
Sort it out Squatski!

i did look it up ages, not that i needed to, so how is it different, when the stuff from 98 had actaul breaks in it? and back then i was called nuskoolbreaks.
the 30+ thing was a sweeping generizelisation not be me, but the majority of UK people

funnily enough, breaks is made using break beats for the beats.
Why do you want everybody to be like you and listen to the same music that you do - will that not make you hate the music that you listen to at the moment once it becomes popular and mainstream?

pffffft gimmi a break guys. like i said im more happy if people hate the music i love cause i know what i enjoy and you know what you enjoy... but how can the name be justified with Breaks these days. can't some one just get a new name to stick? ie. i dunno, alt-house or somthing? ok that's shit but come on!!

Its still breaks, its just not as hardcore as hardcore breaks. In much the same way that house isn't as hard as hard house
