I was going to use a Paypal account to buy from this site from the first time, but it asked for a large amount of information that it should be able to get from the Paypal account. Why is this? Shouldn't it be taken care of with the Paypal account?
I am not comfortable giving out that information and would like to use Paypal in its indended fashion.
...I hope this is the right place to post this :P

We are only asking for your address so we can ship the records.

If you dont feel comfortable giving your address to a store that has to ship the goods somewhere, get a PO box ;)

Isn't Paypal supposed to supply all that information?
It also asks for name and phone number...
The fact that it says "Card Holder Info Only" sounds like I'm paying by credit card >.>

PayPal supplies it, if you let it supply it -> the store has to get your address in order to send the package to somewhere, your name is part of the address. Not sure about this store, but phone number is needed if you use courier (UPS, FedEx and the like...). If you're not ordering by courier just add 'NA' to it, at least thats what i do :P

Little while since I paid with paypal for anything other than on ebay (which owns paypal) but there is likely an issue with data protection. A company can't give away your data without your express permission, which usually needs a signature, depending on the countries involved. The last data protection I had to sign (not connected to this site or in fact anything music based) specifically stated that I couldn't transfer members data over the interweb to anybody else - and indeed the first database I received was via CD.
Paypal has your name and should have your number too if you are verified, so if you are expecting Paypal to divulge your information, why are you uncomfortable with giving it yourself?
Something else to bear in mind, shipping addresses are often different to billing addresses.
If you are looking for some confidence in the happyhardcore.com shop then I will 100% vouch for it. I've used it myself on a fair number of occasions and I know of many many many others who have also with absolutely no complaints.

Thanks, Underloop, I really didn't think of it that way. That actually does make sense.
