If I bought these tape packs, would you say that they covered the majority of songs from '96 - '99 (Happy Hardcore only, not Drum & Bass)? I also have most of the tapes from Dreamscape 22 (July '96) which my brother gave me.

31st Dec 1996 Helter Skelter - Imagination

15th May 1997 Helter Skelter - Anthology

21st Nov 1997 Slammin Vinyl

8th May 1998 Slammin Vinyl

4th Sep 1998 Slammin Vinyl

1st May 1999 Slammin Vinyl

12th Nov 1999 Slammin Vinyl

Thanks

should do. but a lot of the time people play tracks you just wont know, be they promos and unreleased or just unpopular. I'd recommend you just buy some cds if you want full coverage.

I've heard almost all of the songs from Bonkers 1 - 7 and Happy 2b Hardcore 1 - 6. Hardcore Heaven doesn't seem to be my cup of tea...

Any other CDs?

Oh, where can I listen to Masters@Work (whatever it is...)?

Hard2Get, I can see those Masters@Work CDs on the Helter Skelter website but what year are each from?
Do they have the track listing on the back?
Are they continually mixed?
Could you give me an idea of some of the tracks from each please?

Thanks very much

Thanks! I'll have a listen to a few tracks before I consider it. Those tape packs are gonna cost me about £140 (inc. P & P) so I'm not in a rush to add anymore to the list...

the 21st nov 97 slammin vinyl tape pack sucks the only good tape is hixxy cus mc ruff is on it
dont buy it.
the 4th september 98 slammin pack is brilliant
i must have listened to the sy's and vibes tapes billions of times.
recorded a bit low though.
i also recomend getting
helter skelter strings of life 97
instead off anthology
as the vibes tape on strings of life is the best vibes tape ive ever heard.

take a look around all the people getting down.
hardcore id the sound and were underground.
were underground.

I agree entirely with dreamscape Nov 97 Slammin Vinyl isnt worth it compared to some of the other tape packs that year (esp. strings of life).
