Tryin to build on collection of hard techno and schranz just wondering if anyone can point me in direction of where's best to buy it and any tracks or producers you particularly rate.

There's a pretty good comp out there called Sex, Drugz, & Techno Music that has a pretty decent sampling of more recent hard techno. Also a quick Beatport search for schranz should bring up a huge compilation album (I can't remember the name, but I remember really wanting it when I saw it.) As for producers, Sven Wittekind, Robert Natus, and old Adam Beyer or Chris Liebing stuff are pretty good.

Really hard techno made by Germans. Lots of emphasis on use/abuse of noise. Gets a bit samey, but can be pretty cool. Check out anything Sven Wittekind has done to get an idea of what it sounds like.

Sven Wittekinds class got his remix of "get on up" already definitely sorta thing im after.
