Man, Can you lot remember the soundtrack for the Ridge Racer Game? from the early 90's
Namco Sound Team had a ****ing soundtrack what was ahead of it's years as it is one of my favorite cds ever.
If you lot can remember this great techno styled compilation reply to me and also recommend me some other music which sounds simular like rage racer soundtrack etc

rotterdam nation was my favorite off the first one
most of the ridge racers have a good soundtrack

I rmember the soundtrack being awesome, same with the Wipeout series, loved them both!

yeah wipeout usually has a pumping soundtrack as well...can't wait for wipeout hd to come out

Yeah Wipeout was also great soundtrack i have them on CD release. Great Electronic artists
Rage Racer was also sweet

Rotterdam Nation is good!
Loved the "Lords of Techno" tune also!

I thought the original Ride Racer had a better soundtrack than "revolution"
The original wipeout was done mostly by "CoLD SToRAGE" - you can actually download their tracks illegally as i dont think you can buy them anymore.

The music in Ridge Racer was done by a guy called Shinji Hosoe also known as Sampling Masters MEGA; when I was in Japan last year I saw him play a mad speedcore set.
Also, regarding the music in WipEout, CoLD SToRAGE has put all the tracks he contributed to the series (plus more.. he did some of the music in Lemmings and Sensible Soccer too) on his website: http://www.coldstorage.org.uk/mp3_1.html .

i used to love the sound track of that game..
it always used to sound dead fast compared to the music that was around at the time!!
i uased to love getting stoned playin that game...
they dont make the ridge racers like they used to...
