What do you all think are some of the best hard trance albums and hard trance artists. I used to love trance back in the day and now I'm all into the HHC and HC scene (and DnB =] ) and I tried to get back into trance but don't like it. ATB is too weak for me these days and that used to be my favorite trance artists.... so I figure I want some hard trance.
I also like infected mushroom, they're pretty snazzy. What hard trance artists should I look into?

1. IM is melodic full on (I know, I'm a geek), not hard trance. Pretty different.
2. Don't know much about hard trance post 96, which I doubt is what you're looking for.
3. If you want hard, just go for hardstyle. Heavier basses, bigger kicks, and stronger leads. Blutonium Boys and Art of Fighters are good places to start.

What? Art of Fighters is definitely not hardstyle - it's commercial italian nustyle hardcore.

For hardstyle take a look at Audio Surgery (think thats Organ Donors and Vinylgroover)
If not check out Organ Donors and Vinylgroover on there own also zany, lady dana and Cally and Juice
For hard trance check out Jason Cortez, Guyver,Phil York,Technikal,Cosmic Gate,JFK

i dont know if i can even call IM full on anymore. Its just clubby crap with a small psy influence, a disgrace.

Haha, too true! It's like what Hard Trance is always trying to be, but never quite makes it. Don't get me wrong though Hard Trance is very good :P
Infected Mushroom is far from Hard Trance :P But they have done some very good Psytrance either way :) I don't think you were suggesting it was Hard Trance though were you?:P If you like Infected Mushroom try anything that is within the Psytrance genre. Have a look for some GMS stuff.

If you want real psy, check out V.A. - Potato Gun.. for some banging dark psy..

The only 1 out of them to likey play hardhouse wld be Vinylgroover
and the last two times i have seen him out he has played hardstyle
The rest all play hardstyle
