Fusion Vs Destiny - The Ultimate NYE Showdown
Two Hardcore Giants Go Head To Head To Close The Year With The Party To End All Parties!
On Monday 31st December, join UK Hardcore event brand Fusion as they go head to head with one of the South Coast’s biggest hitters; Destiny for an event set to close the year with bang and start 2008 with a crazy carnival of beats, bass and plenty of roof raising mayhem at The Old Fire Station in Bournemouth. The event will run from 20:00pm – 06:00am and feature an exclusive midnight set from Dougal & Gammer as well as appearances from Vibes & Livelee, Sy, Unknown, Supreme & Sunset Regime, Ramos and a whole host of deck slamming Hardcore talent in support of this, the first Fusion New Years outing in a long time.
Widely supported and hugely anticipated by UK Hardcore fans all over the country, Fusion’s teaming with Destiny on New Years Eve comes as a welcome addition to the NYE calendar after much demand from the public for an end of year event from Fusion HQ, a brand that has been going strong for well over a decade and a half and Destiny, Bournemouth’s resident UK Hardcore promoters that also carry a well established name within the scene.
To ensure the biggest night of the year in the raving calendar is well covered, both Fusion and Destiny have invited the very best the South Coast has to offer in terms of event brands to join them in entertaining the masses. The Main Arena will be hosted by Fusion, Destiny, THC Records and the brand recently responsible for going to head to head with the HTID Experience at The Opera House in Bournemouth – Experi-Mental. Featuring on the line-up will be a who’s who of Hardcore with Essential Platinum and True Hardcore helmers Dougal & Gammer seeing in 2008 with the infamous Midnight set and DJ's Sy, Unknown, Joey Riot and Kurt going back to back in a Morning Mayhem set consisting of 4 DJ’s, 4 Turntables and 4 CDJ’s adding a mighty four way console battle to the proceedings, that is not to be missed.
Not content at just leaving it there for the main headline, both teams have also confirmed a three way deck battle between Stormtrooper, Robbie Long and D-Lyte as part of an exclusive TNC Records showcase as well as sets from Supreme & Sunset Regime, Squad-E, Brisk, Breeze, Ramos, Marc Smith, UFO, Chunky Boys, Frantic, Geos Crew, Clodhopper and Project Bosh.
The Main Arena will also see in live MC sets from Wotsee, Rude, Knight, Casper, Scotti B, Spenno, Motion, Macca and a 100% confirmed exclusive appearance from Marley who you will not see anywhere else this night.
In Arena Two Fusion & Destiny take you back in time for a rundown of the very best in Old Skool classics stretching as far back as 1991 from headliners Vibes & Livelee, Druid, Supreme, Wink, Ramos, Cheeky Scott, UFO, Jedi, Dark Dean and Ronnie G. MC Knight will be joining Livelee in hosting the proceedings.
Another hugely anticipated addition to the night’s activities will be an Arena every avid UK Hardcore fan has been waiting for, the battle of the brands that are the South Coasts finest Hardcore troopers. West does DJ damage with South as well known Boat Party promoter, Depth Charge take to the stage with Electrik, Hardcore Distortion and Q-Bic. Forming a line-up of both established and up and coming talent and residents from all four brands as well as some very special guests, Arena Three will play host to Vibes & Livelee, HDQ, Pikey, Nemesis, Paul EP, S.C. Smithy, Bishop, Reegz, Watzee, Stoner, Marco Polo, Dano and MC’s Motion, Vandal, Skinny D, Princey, LTD, Scatty and TJ.
For the first time in a very long time Fusion are very proud to present this almighty New Years extravaganza in association with Destiny promising a New Years bash to remember representing the very best in UK Hardcore talent today. This event will also be fully stocked with peripheral entertainment and stalls including full light shows, décor, production, an almighty Fusion & Destiny sound system, full merchandise stalls and hot and cold food served all night.
