Love this tune, got it on an old hixxy tape "Dreamscape 26" i THINK,but it is a slammer...The original song was a 1 hit wonder though everyone loved the spaceman intro then the guy started singing and everyone turns off TOTP lol. As far as i know Babylon Zoo havent done anything else, correct me if im wrong tho....

^^^ Been looking into it...

Discogs has: http://www.discogs.com/release/185560 The track sounds very Hixxy & alot like some of the other tracks he did in 1995 & 1996 (Smoogee's asleep again, Hypnotising Rhythm ect)

Buzz Fuzz did a version in 1995: http://www.discogs.com/release/105222

The Babylon Zoo version of Spaceman was rock & he did very few other tracks: http://www.discogs.com/artist/Babylon+Zoo

Someone on here said that Hixxy & Re-Con's mix off Bonkers 15 was 180 bpm, so if thats the case, then that mix is the fastest.

I don't think that's necessarily true! Hixxy's disc on CXH5 is at 178bpm, and it's pretty much as commercial and 'watered down' (as some might say, though I strongly disagree) as you can get. Hixxy & Recon's disc on Bonkers 15 is actually at 177 bpm.

About that Spaceman song.... Funnily, it really reminds me of what Hixxy makes these days! The melodic samples and the progression are quite true to him. I really hate the horrible vocals, cacophonic percussions and cheap bass though. As much as I like old Hardcore, songs like this makes me look forward to upfront releases instead!
