Taken from the news page:

HappyHardcore.com contacted Ministry of Sound to confirm the title of the upcoming 3disc hardcore album due December 26th 2007. According to Ministry of Sound the official title will be:

"Helter Skelter vs Raindance: Rave Nation"

and not Hardcore 2008 as rumored (and listed on some retailer release sheets).

We also got info on the third mystery DJ is, the complete DJ's will be Slipmatt, Billy 'Daniel' Bunter & Nicky Blackmarket.

Well he is a drum n bass legend , so i dont see his mix being any other style. Cracks me up though , you'd never get a drum n bass compilation with a line up from say

Hype
Nicky Blackmarket
Hixxy

It's ment to be a Hardcore compilation. By all means have the Rave breaks cd , but why have a drum n bass mix. It's beyond me.

The concept is about it being a rave cd rather than just a straight up hardcore album. There are loads of hardcoe compilations out all the year round from all sides ofthe scene- Raverbaby, Essential plat. Quosh etc all being thoroughly represented on 3 disc hardcore compilations.

For many of us into rave, we like all sorts of things, Jungle, Old Skool, Breaks, Hardcore, vocal stuff, banging stuff and this is what is all under the overall umbrealla of Rave!
Nickly Black Market is a rave legend and should give a good alternative disc to play.

As this is a hardcore board this comp does only have one disc for you to be specificly interested in, however I would hope you could enjoy all 3!

might be good if he does old skool jungle! but more likely they've gone from hardance to d&b to make some extra smackers!

Nicky Blackmarket mixed Hardcore before Drum'n'Bass came around. I'm guessing it will be a Rave Breaks mix.

not a chance! he was jungle all the way! (maybe a few exceptions) This album actually doesn't use the word hardcore in its title! so I would definately expect either old skool jungle or new D&B on a CD! It says Rave Nation (in other words Hardcore and D&B unites) like the good old days! (but not like the good old days if you know what I mean?)

Oh, for the love of god... It was all called Hardcore at that point. You could argue that Slipmatt played Jungle as well. Hardcore, Jungle Techno, and Old Skool are all synonymous for the same music.
