Question...how do you feel about classical pieces of music being turned into dance tracks? I know "Adigio For Strings" has been done a 1000 times, but besides that, there are many brilliant pieces of music that would sound great as dance tracks. I just think it would be neat to hear some decent remakes and not just rushed assembled tracks.

ProjectChordMinor "Nu-Farandole (P.C.M. Nu-Style Mix)" is awesome, so is DJ Chucky & DJ Angels "The 9th". Also T+Pazolite's "Purify All" is one of my fave speedcore tracks, when the melody kicks in its just ****ing awesome (though i'm not 100% sure its a remake of a classical track, it has a really familiar melody, but dont remember where i've heard it...).

From Eurodance i like Highland's "O Fortuna" a lot. http://youtube.com/watch?v=80tZXqVBxhA

I like it, classical music into modern day stuff. I used Carillon in a gabber track and it came out ok :D I love philharmonic orchestral stuff tbh, ive been to a few concerts in my time too and the music can really move you, so if you can transfer that feeling of being "sent" into hardcore or whatever, can only be a good thing.

Funny I should see this post, was reading something about the late Randy Rhodes the other day, (In case you dont know who he was, he was Ozzy Osbournes guitarist in the late 70's)

I know this is a bit irrelavent for this site, but Rhodes was a classically trained guitarist who made rock and roll, so just goes to show, you can learn loads from classical music.

Wonder what Mozart would make of Speedcore ?

I'd love someone to remix the planet suite by Gustov Holst! (if thats how you spell his name) the Venus symphony is the most ambient thing I've ever heard! has so many posibilities!
