if you're not living in the UK, you're safe, from this awful new genre people are apparently liking, first it was that bodyrockers tune? bodyrock? no idea. but it's awfull
and THEY'VE ****ED up on the name big time.
electro DOESN'T mean, synth-pop I wish people would understand but the dumb thick****er media get it wrong. Electro is actually early hiphop.
and I hate house anyway, it's all gay music

and all the basslines suck, ok, I like nintendo style bass wobbling up and down, and i like the sound of a raw moog synth, but the people who make this music are just wasting their time.

Some good stuff, some bad. Same with most genres. Most of the stuff that makes it to radio 1 is pretty tosh but there is some good underground stuff out there.

IMO depending on how hard you want to dig depends on the quality of the tunes you get!
Its the same with all genre's, me personnally i think some of the electo house is quality. Maybe i am just mellowing in my old age cause before i hated house but now i would say i am feeling that alot more than many of the harder genres!

I rather like electro house. Some serious bangers getting put out. But of course, as with all genres rinsed to death on Ibiza, there are some seriously shit tunes being put out and some really unoriginal stuff, but there are enough cool tracks to redeem the genre, IMO.

Electro IS NOT a genre you muppet - Nor is it one Set Thing...
....its a "Style" of Music!
Just like "Psy"
It can be implemented into ANY genre and to create new sub genres!

Its UK Hardcore - but its "style" is electro!
So in a sense - you could call it "electro hardcore"

Electro wasn't early hiphop
IT WAS A DIFFRENT "STYLE" OF HIP-HOP!
and over time [few years or so] it became its own sub genre of hiphop - that everyone called "Electro"
now STFU!!!!
P.S. Electro House, Electro Breaks, Electro Trance ect ect = ALL SOUND **** ALL LIKE SYNTHPOP!!!!

i dont like electro house, after listening to hardcore 4 so long, electro house is just way too slow. people only love it coz its in the charts and every club in the land all this time, so ppl r exposed 2 it. if the world wer exposed 2 hardcore im sure that wud be even more popular. electro house is a pop chart phase and will soon pass

its a good style/genre (wotever it is) of music. U get some phat bass n rhythms and theres some original stuff out.

It is a change from the usual dance like Flip and Fill and who ever else has been making the same 'Trancy' pop stuff since 1999! Could it be worse than Upfront Hardcore, 95? what would happen if Hardcore takes then new 'Electro' feel?
