BBE - 7 Days & A Week
PVD - For An Angel
William Orbit - Barber's Adagio for Strings (Ferry Corsten Remix) - I don't like the Tiesto remix.

IMHO the late 90's/early 00's Trance was great. It hadn't sold out completely but you could actually hear it played in mainstream clubs. I'm sure there is some good underground stuff still but Trance went massively downhill when they started putting loads of vocals in!

the only good (ambient) trance song EVER is Orbital - Halcyon & on & on . the rest tends to be crap

Can't think of any off the top of my head, but in general, the various artists Platipus has released over the years have probably made the greatest trance song ever somewhere along the line.

William Orbit, Samuel Barber, Ferry crosten & K-Complex all have different versions of the tune.
My Favorite, tracks would have to be
William Orbit -Adagio,
Madagascar - Art of Trance,
Hybrid - Finished Symphony,
Mauiro Picatto (i think) - Kommodo,
Robert Miles - Children
Gotta' love the classics

I think Mr Barber might have an issue with that statement!
He wrote it and the rest have just re-used it!
