Ok, So Is It Jus Me.. Or Is This Stuff Some Of The Best And Most Original Stuff Dougal Has Been Churnin' Out Since Steamtrain ??
Granted Its Nuskool HHC, And Im Into My Oldskool, But I Was Listenin To All Three Of The New Essential Platinum Releases And I HAD to Get Em !!
Im Glad To See That Producers Are Finally Startin To See That Vocals, Although Good Are Not ALWAYS Needed To Make A Class Choon !

I love that track Dougals just released umm it's called "Affermative"
That is newskool hardcore at it's best I really like that track.

Oldskool Is Still My Favourite.. But The New Skool Stuff Still Rocks, But It Int What I Remember Hardcore As, Its A Whole New Genre Near Enough.. Still Good Tho !!!

i honestly would need more experiance to say anything definitive on the matter (i'm still learnin hardcrore) (huge thanx to badboy though who's helpin me with that)
but i'm pretty sure it's oldschool that got me hooked

Well here in brisbane Aus, happy hardcore is like an insult. So ppl when they bring up a class happyhard dj like paul holden from sydney they have to say he's playing newskool hardcore even tho 90% of his set would be classic happy and 10% would be new raverbaby stuff etc. And fenix from sydney has to have hardcore nrg or some other shit as his chosen genre so that ppl take him seriously. I assume this is where the term newskool happy hard came from, to avoid old stigma ? Or just that hardcore is sounding different for the first time in ages (Trancey, Breakbeats coming back, Gabber in 3/4 time etc)
