Darren Styles fully deserved his hat trick in my opinion.
I'm sick of MC Storm winning, about time Whizzkid got some credit.
I'm very happy with the Best Website/Magazine and Best Compilation result.

Best track was deserved, I'd even give him best producer since I don't think there's anyone else who can consistently make anthems like he can, but best DJ? No chance imo...

I think bonkers won just because they used to be good. Now, there are many compilations that are much greater, i voted hardcore nation 3, the one with Robbie Long.. the best cds i've ever listened to! I voted robbie long for almost everything.. :)

Taken from the news page:
The results are in, the winners announced! Last weekend in the UK saw the 4th annual 2006 Hardcore Awards held at the West Fest festival. We are extremely pleased and thankful to announce HappyHardcore.com took home the best website/magazine category!
9500 people attended the event with HappyHardcore.com's DJ Silver flying in from Tokyo to DJ the event in the hardcore room. All we at HappyHardcore.com can say is hardcore is certainly and mostly definitely alive and kicking and is abosultly one of the best genres out there. DJ Silver DJing in front of a packed 2000 people in the hardcore where from the stage you can't even see the back of the room and a sea of hands and glowsticks makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up and there is no feeling like it. From everyone at HappyHardcore.com we thank all the voting public, the ravers, event organizers (Slammin Vinyl) and all the DJ's and MC's for their support with the site. But the biggest thank you is to you, the person that is reading this right now, you visit our page and get all your info here, even if you only browse the top page, we wish to thank all of you for making HappyHardcore.com what it is today.

Styles obviously was mimeing. not as bad as jenna was but still mimeing. for me it was a real shame that the last 3 hours were all about people who voted that only buy clubland extreme and bonkers...
It could have been really good to show everyone who critisises hardcore what its all about rather than makeing it look as shalow as everyone says, keep mimeing out of hardcore. Dougal & Gammers set was flatout and would have been better without jenna jumpin round on stage for the pure porpose of looking good.
RANT OVER
Well done silver mate and kevin energy desserves his award and so many... more.
