k, so after much investigation, buying the best quality cables known to man and still finding my monitor speakers suffering from noise interfearance, i discovered that the leak is coming from my mains socket!!! i unplugged everything in my house and found it quite improoved!
but alas, the rest of my family dont appreciate the lack of electrical apliances as much as apreciate the clarity it gives my monitors lol
so after searching for mains/power/purifier/cleaner on google, ive come up rather short. even ebay failed me
could just be me tho, but does anyone know of any decent and effective "noise spongers" or whatever that i could buy preferably online, and if possable vouche for there effectiveness
thnx in advance!

Balanced cables is one solution that may help! Use balanced connections wherever possible!
Ground loops is another thing to look for!
You've found where the noise is coming FROM, next stage is to find where it gets into your system. Is it coming in through the leads going from your amp to your speakers? mixer to amp?
General things to try and do is to keep audio cables as far away from electrical leads as possible. If they have to go near then you should lay them a certain way (either across or parallel, I forget which). It could be dirty electricity getting into one of your electrical components, and the noise transferring inside (computers are usual culprits for this!).
There are electrical power filters on the market (although I couldn't reccomend one as I've never used one) but there should be other ways.
Do a bit of investigating and see if you can pinpoint where the noise gets into your system and post a bit more info. If you can't find where, describe your system to us in a bit more detail and we can perhaps make a few suggestions on things to try.

Power filters are quite common, you should be able to find them in pro audio places.

Power Filters
that returned more usefull results in google :D
Underloop, i found 70% of the noise comes from my laptop / external HDD
the extrnal HDD being the major culprit out of the 2, wich effects my monitors even when no other cables are plugged into them except the power cables :S
found my self a filter now tho, so gonna see just how much it really works!
