What kind of equipment would I need?
I've been thinking of getting a sequencer, maybe the "Roland MC-909." Well, I'm not sure if they even fits what I want. Is it better to create music from hardware or on the computer now'a'days? I've always liked hardware. Or is it good to use both? What computer program is good to create music? And which hardware (sequencer) is good for hardrave?

try a midi/audio sequencer like logic or cubase or even FL studio.
No point getting an MC-909 really.

For sequencing, hardware is limiting (no one really uses hardware sequencersanymore), so it's better to use a software sequencer with hardware synths :)
