its been replaced by the c.314 not sure if light sounds stocks them... i'm not a fan of using cd players personally, so i cant really give an opinion on them.
Everyone i know says to use the Pioneer CDJ1000

stick with Pioneer, they're the most reliable and every club has them
get the CDJ200s if you're on a budget

you shouldn't buy gear for features
The Pioneer decks have much better jog dials, and the overall build is far superior.
It's a terrible investment if you're not going for the industry standard.

yes, but if you don't invest in the future of industry, then industry doesn't move forward

if you think the stanton c.314 is the future of the industry you're in no position to comment on this
the CDJ-1000 Mk3 is the future for clubs
the CDJ-200 is the budget standard (yes, it's much better than the CDJ-100 so the CDJ-100 got phased out...so the industry DOES move forward)
Stanton does not make professional products (although they like to think they do). You will not see those in clubs for a reason.

I wasn't trying to imply the c.314 is the future industry standard, sorry for any confusion there. I'm saying that the industry on a whole has to move on and away from the whole mentality that because it's been the best for a long time (e.g. Technics 1200s), it doesn't mean that it will be the best forever. All i was trying to get across was that people should give other manufacturers a go and try out their products, not just use what everyone else is using.
*edit* i guess the point i'm trying to get across is to go for the ones that are BETTER than the industry standard (no, not the C.314). I know that theres an industry standard for a reason, but standards are set only to be superseded by a new model, which will become the standard, etc etc...

They're OK but you're way better off with CDJ-200s
I play at a club that CDX05s and maybe I'd pay 250$ for one but not 500$
Even for 250$ it's not a great deal since I'd rather have CDJ-100s which you can get used for like 200$

I've got one, and NO COMPLAINTS, a solid unit, as with the Tascam controller unit that I bought with it
