I Was Wondering If Anyone Knew When He Is Going To Come Back To The Usa Again. There Was A Party In Dallas Texas About A Year And Half Ago That He Was Supposed To Be At And That Was The Last Of That. I Dont Know If The Production Company Put Him On There So People Would Come To The Party Or What But There Was A Lot Of Mad People

why book him? there are numerous other stateside & canadian djs that are much better imo and would probably be a hell of a lot cheaper to book...

indeed there are alot of other north american djs that are better then frolic... but none are as popular as him which means more kids and more money

thats just like saying why book the tidy boys there are plenty of other hardhouse djs that are local and not big.
I would book him because I like him. of course there alot of other badass dj's out there that spin HHC but he was the first hhc dj I ever heard back in the day and I never got a chance to see him. so it would mean alot to me.

no it's not, i'm saying that there are plenty of stateside djs and canadian djs who can actually mix. if you listen to pretty much all of frolic's sets it sounds like marching soldiers. he plays some decent tunage but his mixing ability leaves much to be desired.....

has his mixing always been like that or like vibes, after awhile you just seem to try alot less, get rusty ect.
Vibes can do a mint 94/95 set his hhc sets now are proppa clangethons, but vibes is vibes and will always be the nuts.

finally some people are talking sensibly on here.... there are much much much better djs than Frolic around, I would rather hear any local djs here than frolic, anyday.
instead of just booking the dj who has CDs out on a big label, do a little research and find some talent...

would you please read what I read, ALL OF IT!!! I said he was the first hhc dj I heard back in the day and I never got a chance to see him. so what is wrong with wanting to hear the dj that got me started on hhc. why do you have to get into all this other stuff about there being better stateside djs.
do you thing that I dont know this. I am into the scene probably just as much as any of you. there are bad ass hhc djs here in texas. one of my favorite is here in texas, but thats no reason to not want to see him.

that's great if you want to see him but i think for now the only way to see him is to take a road trip to canada....
i was told that paulina taylor really doesn't play outside of california now a days....

I have to agree, that Frolic is not one of my fav DJs. Seen him twice and the second time I saw him, he messed up alot. And sometimes, listening to 1groove, I wonder if he's unskilled or just very very lazy or tired or something. But like HI-OCT, he introduced HHC in my life and to the lives of so many other Canadians so I felt I needed to see him at least once. And if you've ever been to his Hullabaloo parties in Toronto, you'd know the vibe there is just amazing. I personally went to see Force & Styles the one time I went, but a ton of people there were there because of Anabolic and the fact that it was his birthday and all I know is that it was one of the best parties I've ever been to.

Yeah there could be better DJs, but no one is better than me, with a DJ mixing program on the computer!! That's right baby! Flawless mixing, awesome selection of tunes, it has everything you're looking for!!
