Anybody like the streets? I think he's a Genius!! Love all the work he does. Both of his 2 albums have been awesome. His new one is out on April 10th. Same day as HH3!!! Gonna be a great day for music!!
His new one will feature his new track, which is bloody great!

Yeah pretty good. I wouldn't go as far as genius, pretty much just talking/mcing little stories.
aye but its the way he does it bulby defo connects with me anyway.
Most hip hop i've heard the last while is total bollocks, all american folk talking about killin loadsa people and pullin allsortsa birds and pimpin them out or whatever. Does nothin for me and i absolutely cringe at normal little kids buzzin off it, as if there life's anything like that there just dreaming. Grimes nearly all just madness aswell and i have to put up with that day by day.
But streets on other hand talks about things that click with life over here, f*ckin things up with your lass, going on holiday with your mates, out to raves, sittin gettin a smoke, 3 of you on a gram
i love there stuff anyway, dont listen to it too often but theres a lot of talent.
"it's too late" and "blinded by the light" are probs my fav tunes but loads of good ones, look forward to the new album.

rap is just like any other music scene baldo, all the stuff that you hear mainly is the unoriginal stuff that sounds the same, you gotta look past all those tossers to find the good stuff, although alot of the decent rappers have long since stopped
there are a few good ones out there still although i've drifted away from rap alot over last 2 years so only know of very few decent ones

Yeah definitely some talent there for sure and it's interesting to hear some refreshing lyrics that you can actually relate to as well but I still wouldn't go as far as genius ;) I keep genius reserved as a description for a very select few.

definitely mate i understand that and i guess i'm just too lazy, i like biggie smalls and some of the uk ones like skinny man are wkd aswell.
I'd rather stab myself than go to most hip hop nights tbh and just dont have enough interest to spend hours going through it. Any recommendations i'll gladly check them out cos i agree when hip hop has a real story and message to it can be quality, just so much i hear is all about the same shit that really bores me.

The Streets are good, not my taste most of the time, but I like to listen every once in a while.
