My friend who is a spy at Hardcore-land College said as from September this year there is going to be a course for Hardcore studies! This course runs for 8 months and gives 16-21 year olds the chance to become professional DJs, Producers, MCs or promoters over the Hardcore scene!
Units you will cover include:
DJ mixing and scratching
MCing, lyrics and beat boxing
Producing
History of Hardcore
And work experience at a rave (With the choice of a day or night rave)
To pass you will need to have done the following:
Write an essay on Hardcore and its place in modern society
Write about your favourite DJ and what they have done for Hardcore.
Produce three volumes in the old 94-97 style
A remix of a modern track to make it sound ten years older
An Acid Trance/Hardcore track
A remix of your favourite non Hardcore track/song
Another track in any style of your choice
An EP mix of all the tracks of above with a scratching and MCing over the top!
Career prospects are good with the opportunity to DJ, MC at any rave or produce for any label! Also you would be able to make any Hardcore track in your spare time now and everyone will want to be your friend and will want to go out with you!
You will work in modern studio’s in the college’s music block and will receive £40 training allowance and a lunch voucher in the college canteen which is worth £3 a day You will also get a free bus pass which will give you free transport all over Hardcore Land! You will be expected to be in college all week ecept Fridays which is your day off. Your work experience will take place at the end of the course and will last 1 month.

Aye it seems anythings possible in hardcoreland, i'm 21 aswell better get applying before its too late.

It's so typical that even in Hardcore land there are limits to age...
And then irl all the kids complain about it... I't just not fair

There is an adult option on the cards too but my friend who is spy hasn't said much about that yet.
