Hiya ive been using synth 1 but im finding it hard to get a trancey sound so could anyone who uses it give me some tips please?

use 2 sawtooths and detune and detune them.and a bit of Reverb and thats your typical trance lead

You also need unison aswell to get a phat sound, but you be able to emulate that with the chorus FX on it if you do it right :)

Synth one is actually really good, at least for a free synth, it can be really warm. I've heard sounds from that that i thought were from Hardware at times. Also Synth 1 was a synth Jon Doe reccomended on Ush.net ages ago, so it has to be good :)

Yea just pointing out that a typical trance lead is detuned sawtooths.
