look in settings for the timestrech option and turn it off, you get better beatmatching without it :)

use space bar to start the choon and once its playing it auto fixes beatmatching errors

other than that stick at it and ull find out what sounds good and what doesnt

i havent used the default skin in a very long time, but you should notice those blobs under the beats (the red and green Spectrum at the top). Since I rarely use Virtualdj for live mixing (plus i only use one soundcard), you should first play the tracks and then click on the spectrum (the green colored one should move this way, press either 1 or 2, or TAB, to change what track is green) and align the tracks so the beats sounds good.
after that, press the large BPM button near the number that is green, and you will get a "Adjust BPM Values" pop up, click on the Edit BPM tab and move the Phazer so the they are just below/above the red blob/dots

*makes the possible impossible :P*

I tried it out, it's great but the auto beatmatching to me was crap, maybe I did something wrong but it never sounded quite right.
