First off, you'll need a phono to line in cable:

Plug your mixer into your amp/stereo input, and the red & white wire's into the amp/stereo out socket.

Plug the other end into your pc/laptop line in socket, now you should be able to hear your decks through your pc speakers.

Then get some kind of mp3 recording software, and record your mix. Then burn to a cd like you would do a normal mp3.

Personally, I like to use a program to edit my mix a little, like cut out the silent parts at the start and end of the mix, and maybe adjust the volume level.

No problem. You can pick the cable up in places like Dixons and such, if you shop around you can ususally get them half the price at ASDA & probably your local market or electronics shop.

check out ebay. All the online dj stores are selling phono to mini jack (3.5mm) for about £5 with an extra £5 postage and packing. I bought one of ebay (a 5m long one) for 99p with an extra 80p p&p! Bargain!

Here is the link

dont record straight to mp3. record as a wav file or something similar first then encode it to mp3 as recording straight to mp3 can lead to problems.

^^^ Thats what I do, I use Acid Pro to record the mix, and then edit the silent parts out and stuff, then render the mix as mp3. I've found some mp3 recorders make the mix skip or distort in places.
