djing with cdj's enables you to produce a much cleaner mix for those live performances that you want to have the perfect mixes or cd's to give out that are perfect. Nothing stands out better than a dj mix that is spot on perfect. Yeah vinyl "feels" good, but so does laying down a mix that sets a dancefloor on fire. Dj using any media you can, dj'ing is about mixing music non stop so people can dance, does it really matter how you do it? If you're good at it, use whatever you want. I use vinyl, and cd and no one on the dancefloor cares, they just want to dance to hardcore.

um yeh the onli thing that i dont lyk about turntable is the fact that u can't get some songs on the records n that wif a recored u can onli get 2 songs for $5 while wif a cd u can get about 22 for $30. but on the other hand i guess u can scratch wif a turntable and ur able 2 have more control. lyk im not having a go at turntabl peeps or anything i respect turntable people n i think they get more respect aswell then a person that uses a cdj in the dj world.
lyk im just starting 2 become a dj n im a bout 2 buy a dj kit but i just dont no wat 1 to get either a cdj or turntable?

lets put it this way, the only big name dj that i saw use vinyl this past year was omar santana, everyone else used cd. I respect the other ones because they are good, omar on the other hand, i lost all respect for him because he was a dick. but either way, no one cares anymore if you use cd or vinyl as long as they can dance. ravers aren't so technical about how the music gives them a rush that they would turn their back on you if that sound came from a cdj, get real. who really cares if you use cdj's?

as of yesterday im booked for more house parties :D
With Vinyl/Turntables, i doubt id be making ANY money right now. My money would have went COMPLETELY to hardcore and i wouldnt feel comfortable mixing all hardcore ALL night long anyways.
MY cdj's are keepin my busy and im making supplemental income now! Hard to argue with that.
Nice posts' bobby.
