800 is looking good but I never feel like I need a new mixer enough to shell out all that money for them! I do feel technology is getting to make it a bit too easy to DJ TBH, the next mixer will probably have little arms to load your record and an auto que! Still... automatic key matching would have it's advantages.

Yes the 400 looks good but too small for my needs, not enough channels. Do they have cue pans on them? Can't see in that picture. I hate mixers without them, a cue pan can come in mucho handy when you don't have good monitors.

The 800 looks the business, but I'm not in the market for a new mixer as my 600 is still in perfect shape.

basically lets you listen to a tune easier through your headphones. you can flip back and forth (pan) between the master and the cued song by moving a dial allowing a certain amount of sound of each into the headphones.

i was wondering why the 400 didnt have it, i just didnt know what to call it. lol

In case anyone is thinking of getting one, I just got a djm400 today, and am pretty impressed.
Good points:
-- in-loop sampler: works like a dream, quality for playing with
-- effects: dead easy to use, very easy to get amazing sounds
-- nice strong kills
-- good build quality, just the right level of resistance on the faders
bad points:
-- as mentioned, no variable split cue. You can use the three buttons to monitor either or both channels or the master, and you can get one channel through the left side and one through the right.
--Unless I've missed something, you can't actually put a sampled loop through any of the other effects. This would have been the icing on the cake for me.
Anyone else got one? what do you think?

havnt got either but ive been told the 800 isnt worth the money over a 600 unless you have money to burn, i think anyone would be better off spending £500 on vinyl rather than selling their 600 for a 800
