The Roland Alpha Juno (or samples of) was one of the most midely used synths in old Hardcore (from 94 onwards), i would say most widely used, but i don't technically know :)

the 60 is a little 'punchier,' but I prefer the synth bass on the 106
yeah they are cheap now because they were produced 20 years ago =P
bought mine for $350 with original manual...pretty much in mint condition with all original patches...I love the wood panels

is the juno good for dance music? If it weren't for a juno there wouldn't be a hoover and handbag hardhouse and nrg would have never happened, so yes the juno was good for dance music.

you might wanna ask your self what it is you want to achieve with junos.
I got a 106 ages ago before I knew which one actually made hoovers which was what I wanted to do.for those you want an alpha juno 1 or 2.
