hello all looking forward to the weekend end i no i am.
any way ive been listening to hardcore for a few years now and produciong it for like half a year and i love it. i really really wanna start mixing what would you recomend decks or computer.
whats the pros and cons of both. also whats ableton live like ive heard its wicked,
any info, tips or whatever would be wicked

ableton live is amazing
computer djin is critisised a lot as not real djin.....but ableton seems to be the only program exempt from this.
ablton would be a good choice as its production as well as djing...and everything i between...(mashups etc)

Computer mixing is just that computer mixing, no one is gonna think your DJing if your not behind the decks.

actually ive witnessed Live on a laptop at a producer meetup here and its pretty good...its not as easy as people make it out to be
but i wouldn't really recommend it for hardcore...its more better for breaks, dnb and techno ish type stuff...
but its also got nice midi implmentation and a decent sequencer if you want to produce with it
other wise if u just want straight up mixing...go for decks..nothing really subsititutes them i guess

i haven't used a comp but i love they attention i get from a good house party
