This is an off the wall type of question, but I actually rent, sell and operate complete club laser systems, everything from small lasers to massive color systems, I never really put anything on the site about it, but I thought I might ask people here, do you think it's a good idea to sell lasers and laser rentals from happyhardcore.com?

Are you operating everything from Japan only? If so I think it would be quite of a hassle to rent equipment from half way across the world. But for selling I guess why not?

Yes I agree rentals would be "harder" but not impossible because for really big events I pull in lasers from overseas anyway... thanks for the feedback.

How much do your lasers cost? I am building up quite a beefy lighting system but i seem to be missing a laser. I have a smoke machine, a disco ball, this twirly light thingamajiggy, two strobe lights and a relay flasher that I set up.

It depends on exactly what you want, where you want it, what types of displays you want, how big you want it, if you want color etc... prices can range from $5 ~ $350,000 and I'm not joking... best to start with an idea of what you want or a budget.

$5 buck = pen laser
$350,000 = 13 Watt, solid state, multi head, 16.8 million color laser, and the mirrors are so fast you can watch TV with the laser beam... (it moves the laser to generate an image you can watch TV)

and no I don't have one of those :)

mmm.. TV laser. Makes my 5 year old 27 inch Mitsubishi look like a rat against a large and unsightly gorilla. Now lets weigh the possibilities if I had 350 Gs

So you purchase the system then you rent it for $25,000 a night (there are people that pay that much for a pro gig) ... pays for itself in 3-4 months.
