Does anyone know how this can be achieved?
An example of this effect would be on the prodigy's firestarter.

Could you not take the sample with its reverb to audio, cut it down and put it in as a new sample in reverse?
I would have to listen to firestarter again to know exactly what your talking about though.

Mull, The RV7000 reverb unit has a reverse effect, and it's pretty good.

Yeah :) Take the sample and reverse it, add reverb, then reverse it back. Very simple :)

Yeah this techniques pretty cool , but i think you should only use it in small doses, otherwise its doesnt sound as special... its used well in black magic ...
