Has anyone (specifically from Canada) gotten their order of presales from NuEnergy yet? Im just curious as to how long I should expect to wait to get mine. I ordered it on the 6th of Feb.

How much do you usually pay for shipping & handling?
I was about to make an order but the shipping seems so ridiculously high, but I guess that's the price you pay for records, cuz they're so heavy and bulky...
Anyone know of any cheaper shipping methods? Personally, I have no rush on my order since I don't have turntables yet... It could take over a month and I'd still be perfectly fine with it if it was a fair bit cheaper...

Pre-sales, means "Pre" "sale"... before it's on sale, so if you buy something pre sale it means you wont get it until the record is made. Normally a pre-sale item is much cheaper than the actual release so it's all good :)

Finnhawk : it's strange... shipping is somehow cheaper and faster from the UK than from the US. A word of warning to canadians... be careful before u order from Subsonic Underground, cuz you'll get raped on shipping charges. They ship FedEx by default to canada, and if you specify USPS you'll have to pay for Express Mail and Customs Charges (since they opt to use a customs broker)

Yup. I felt the sting of shipping charges from subsonicstore a few days ago when i received my vinyl. It's cheaper to order through IMO records.

I just got my order from IMO today, and for some reason, UPS delivered it... usually I get it by FedEX. The guy made me pay him $20 for them for shipping and taxes!!! GRRR... FedEX didn't charge me a cent! >:(

bowser: why wouldn't IMO ship it to you via conventional airmail?
