Hey, I read in Freebass a while ago that the SSU crew were doing a remix of drowning (AK1200 one I think "Stay with me just for the day ..."), n e one know n e thing on this? Is it going to be Mashed Up 5?

Mashed Up 5 is the DNA remix of Kingsize & Eternity - U Belong To Me. DJ Storm has Break Your Heart lined up as a Mashed Up so I doubt the drowning remix will come out for a while if at all.

Well I found out about Mashed Up 5 cause I'm on the SSU mailing list, and DJ Storm played Break Your Heart on Happy Hour last week where it was listed as a Mashed Up.

Before remixing a track, its always worth asking the artist, otherwise you could get into all sorts of trouble.

I'm pretty sure that simon himself did that U Belong rip, and that Storm & Herman track IS going to be mashed up 6.. as far as the drowning remix, ssu originally were allowed to do the remix by moonshine but moonshine didn't care to release the track so now ssu is in the process of releasing it themselves :)

Simon Apex was commissioned by Moonshine Records to remix "Drowning" He, Lostboy, and Ion did the remix. If you havent heard it, it's wikked. Thats all, im sure most of you already knew most of this. Back to lurking...

The drowning remix was an official mix done by Simon Apex & Lostboy for moonshine. However moonshine have not decided what they would like to do with it.

As for MUP5 it is not a remix, it only has the same U Belong vocal..the music is original.

hee hee....i have had the full hhc mix on cd since last september. ****ing wicked. LostBoy said if Moonshine doesnt pick it up, he may just pay for the rights and release it himself.

yah, i wasn't incredibly impressed with the mix when i heard it but hopefully there will be another mix ont he back of it if it's released.
