where in australia are u if u dont mind me asking??? tgere is a great dj act doing freeform in sydney call 4point theory
they play at DOSAGE every 2nd thursday

and to whoever said it, no, I don't mean noizecore when I mention extratone. extratone is about +2000bpm and noizecore is more like a mix between breakcore and extreme powernoize.
and whatever you do, plz don't compare dnb to gabber, given, they're god when u play em together in sets but they are in no way comparable save when you take certain artcore (the hardcore kind) and compare it to certain fast dark dnb.
for the rest you should compare em. It's like comparing punk to deathmetal, you just don't do it.

Delta9 - Disco Inferno
All top quality Hardcore Techno or Gabber as its more commonly known.

I'm in sydney. At most of the raves I've been to, freeform is shelved, unless its an international playing.
I dont remember the last time I heard any carbon based, shanty, tazz or devastate in a set in sydney.

search google for "hamburg hardcore", one of the sites that pops up has some sets on em that are "splitter" or "splittercore" which is basicly fast speedcore or moderate extratone, check it out.
