Cant you use the ending of a gabba kick to reproduce a donk style bass?

The "donk" sound is an FM bass!

so, the question still stands. can someone help me make one. I'm new to production and I don't understand alot of the terminology. I've been working on a sound for it, but i don't really know where to start. I started using a satan FM synth in FL as a basis .

If you have the V-Station you can see how it's made from the presets i uploaded. I don't know any other soft synth that can create that kind of sound accurately, but there isn't much to it, you just need a subtractive synth with an FM oscillator on it and a basic envelope for it :) The V-Station is the only soft synth i know with that though, and you can download my preset and have a look how its made, which is as good as anyone trying to describe to you, if not better :)

alright, i figured it out.
if i had a way to host the sample right now i'd post it for an example, but I'll have to explain it instead.
what i did, was take a wood block bass and offset it to a slightly distorted kick drum and the distortion played off of the beginning sound of the wood bass. then put in the clap, hats and ride and it sounds perfect.
thanks for your help everyone, i will now be in the studio making some donk!
