Sorry for yelling... but I haven't heard boo about any aussie hardcore ravers.. they're either into hard house or trance or techno but not happy hardcore, so if you're from australia reply to this topic and help me feel not a freak :)

Im from perth and a happycore raver =)
everyone over here is into dNb at the moment, well not everyone obviously but sometimes it seems like that, its just really anoys me when teenyboppers turned dnb ravers try to tell me that drum n bass has been around longer than hardcore, pffft, i even had one kid say to me "yeah but the different is drum is bass is the true rave music"

rocking.... where abouts in brisbane you guys from there? I used to live in clayfield... And snowmann - interesting (for lack of a better word) picture... I would talk to you on icq but I don't have the net at home and would rarely be able to use it even if I did but when I'm down in brisbane I'll give you a holler. And Lusive - that's what all my friends say :P Silver what do you mean by technically? I worked with a guy from perth, he was 28 and only into old style rock like AC/DC or teenybopper shit.. it was so funny, he looked like the guy from MAD magazine, Al P Neumann or whatever his name was, and once we'd set up our show he'd have his AC/DC playing through the company stereo and jumping around like a gimboid, I was quite amused by that.. :) (although when we were driving it got on my nerves a bit - he had one cd and he'd play that every day at least once - I liked the music at the beginning... but not really anymore) I'm not missing out on much though.. Only the worlds biggest rock and roll band :P But yeah... I want a Happy Hardcore room at System 6... not just a hardcroe room... HAPPY HARDCORE DAMNIT!!!!

yeah well as u can probably tell I LuV happy hardcore. I like it all really, good dnb is MAD. It really depends on the atmosphere.

Well yeah, all styles is good, but I never hear sets of HHC at any raves I go to. And Spry - were you talking to me when you said where you from? I'm from Caloundra at the moment... but I did live in Brisbane last year (till I ran out of money :P )

i'm from sydney.... spin happyhard, icq:22172613. there's heaps of aussie happycore people out there, they just get shit about it so they hide. no shame for me. i think not for snowmann either! hahaha cheesetown ;)
personally i think fenix is one of the most overrated djs in sydney.... definately most overrated hardcore dj. and as a promoter he's not that tops either. but then we're lucky to have such a big scene down here :)

He was pretty ****in good at Atomic. Not as good as Thief's Nrg set before him, but then again...Only thief can make NRG exciting
