OK I am having a bit of a dilemma at moment. I want to get have a serious go at making Hardcore. I have a fast computer and loads of money to spend. I was going to get Reason 3 because its one that I know but then I was told Logic is much better and more powerful? There are also loads of others that keep popping up and now I’m back to square one! Can anyone tell me, if money was not a problem what the dog’s bollocks of music production software, best for Hardcore? (for a PC not MAC)
Thanks

i was going to go with logic as well but after trying reason 3.0 i decided on that. from what i hear logic operates differently than any other production software on the market but its what all the big time producers use (not talking hardcore). logic is very powerful, but reason is turning out to be pretty powerful as well. only problem with reason is there isnt any vst support but so far i havent had any problem getting the sounds i want out of reason.
seems with every new release reason just keeps getting better and better. its really a tough call. i think the mac site has a logic 7 demo that you can download and try.
as for why i went with reason, its because its what i know
and as always, its not what you use but how you use it.
so best suggestion, download the reason 3.0 demo and check for that logic 7 demo (it will run on pc's) to give you an idea of what you are looking for.
feel free to pm me if you need anymore info.

I do my job because it puts Hardcore on the table.

I kick ass AND use Reason 3.
Reason 3 therefore will be able to help you kick ass too.
Become an ass kicker and get Reason 3. If you don't I'll kick your ass.
