Yes! Yet another question....
Am i right in thinking that it doesnt really matter how good my MIDI/USB keyboard is because Reason will produce sum ultra sexual sounds / distortion n whatnot.... ie. aslong has the keyboard has keys itll be right.
Coz im getting underway now with learning reason n its obvious i need a keyboard to make the most of it... i jus dont have the money to be splashing out on an ultra sexual one at the moment so im jus lookin at the shitty £40 ones n that.... e-keys i think it is thats cheap... will that suffice?
Cheers once again for your help

Or a USB interface! I think I looked at something called the e-keys once and it only has USB.... although I may be wrong. Either way, if it has Midi or USB your hot to trot

I was looking at a £35 keyboard, but it only has midi out, is midi in important on a keyboard?

Do any controllers have midi in on? It wouldn't make sense of they did, as controllers don't produce sound :)

Ones with fancy gizmos like motorised faders and all that do. Although I'm not sure if any controller keyboards have this functionality yet, or it may just be general control surfaces

Personally I'd say neither. both have "mini-keys" which are a pain to play on. You should really get full size keys and get used to using full sized keys. If you can afford it checkout the Oxygen http://www.dv247.com/invt/10397 Its twice the price, but well worth it as a starter keyboard if you ask me. Is it that bad to play on mini keys?
I dont really have the dollar to be gettin an oxygen keyboard until the end of next month - my gal is buyin me the keyboard as a present but she can only wedge like 50 squid.

Do NOT get mini keys, Even if you can't play well, There a pain in the ass and you'll just end up hitting the wrong not.
My controller has midi IN and OUT as well as USB, So it also works as a basic 1 in 1 out midi interface. Its an Alesis Photon.
