what i mean is does where you stay relate to in any way your love for happy hardcore?
i live in Glasgow Scotland and the dancings we have here are mostly attended by gangs of youths.
I go to raves and things and HAVE to fight afterwards because of my area.
I am 15 and being brought up in glasgow where i think happy hardcore is more.....respected by teenagers who just take drugs go to raves and fight for there housing schemes.Coz of my area where hardcore is the main genre of music we listen to i think it gives me alot more respect for it.
if anybody understands what i am getting at.....how does your area affect you in relation to Happy Hardcore !!

I see what u mean kinda. In my area hardcore is very underground with the rest of the teenagers round her eprefering to be all commercial and Liking Punk coz everyone does or They say oh yeah SL2 wicke dco zminisrty of sound said so n that ( wicke dtrack tho neway but not my point) N altho thats opposite to glasgow it make su appreciate hardcore too becaus eits underground u get apreciate a Hardcore event more than if it wer ehappening every week. U also see peopel for who they are and truly like teh music. For example living in a small town n everyone started waring there branded hoodies with "manson" or "linkin park" on then u kinda c the true Lover sof hardcore those who don't go with the trends and still defy commercialism with the way they keep buying packs, keep going to raves . And basically Say "hardcore will never die" There arnt many of us round her ebut the 10 - 11 or so in my towen ( lil' old midway) but we more than make up for it with our love and enthusiasm for teh music. And altho u r rite how u apreciate hardcore coz of ur suuroundings o fit being popular we also appreciate it because it aint:) Neway u make a good point and anyone who says wher eu live doesnt affetc ur hardcore i bollox. Ok wherever u ar eu may love teh hardcore in ur own individual way but it differs when u have to face slagging off of ur muzik day to day orbeing around peopel who love it...At teh end of teh day to couin a phrase ITZ ALL JUST HARDCORE:D

sorry to double post but if u all love hardcore why the the NEED to fite? I understand it mite be a ruff area coz sum clubs u go to ther eis always fites n end up in one but Dat aint nuffink to do with HArdcoire thats teh peopel

Look at nasenbluten from Newcastle, Australia. Low income housing, lots of industrial crap around, High alchoholism = ****ing Angry Gabber and Terror.
Brisbane, pretentious ignorant house/breaks scene, Brainless hard house loving raver populous = Bouncey Gabber and Dark Dutch Stuff
Sydney, Huge scene with long history of huge raves = Happy hardcore and Freeform still well respected.

Midway_raver: i didnt mean the fighting came from the hardcore i meant:
gangs in glasgow fight for respect....coz hardcore is so popular with youths(being gangs is too) they go to the dancing.,..all the housing schemes...they all have a great time dancing and having fun.....THEN after the rave they all fight for reputations of the HARDEST gang in glasgow.

most of the fights in glasgow are between celtic and rangers supporters
and i've seen plenty,i go up a few times a year

Yeha i get what u mean now..Fighting is kinda stupid but we fight sometimes for teh same stupid reasons for respect. Its liek if sum1 offaz u out after a party down her ei fu tturn it down u a pussy so u end up in mass fites its nowher enear as ruff as glasgow tho...Definetly not!!

yeah fighting is pretty dumb but it just a fact of life up here.i have had records stole from me.Hats and jackets are also targets.rangers and celtic fans do a lot of fighting but not al of us are like that.I have lots of friends who support rangers.
but the best thing aboot the fighting in glasgow is the raves before it.

yeah also come fae glasgow,
and like most teenagers and 20+ still do i was in a gang,
its just the way it was, you live in a rough area, you fell more secure in a group, cause you know were you can turn 2, but now all that is past, and i still walk through old area, and still get respect,
but we didnt go looking for trouble, ......... but i was involved in some tough sh*t ............ like the time my m8 got slashed when i was about 17 on the bus coming fae hamilton, and i got a bottle over my head, wrong area bad timing, but it doesnt matter were ya go they will always be gangs, .........
i know that i can still turn 2 my old m8's if i need help with something, but only if needed, .............till this day if you were in a gang, you still have 2 watch ya back 25 now, and still as tough as it was 10 years ago when i was 16, ......................

know what you mean NightSoul.my girlfriend lives in hamilton and when i go visit her i need tae watch my back coz my scheme is very small and well respected by nearby gangs coz no matter where we are or what happens we stick by friends so we always get it coz ppl dont know what we are like and try to get away with starting fights with us.
Archaos i would say is the hardest dancing for the unders but not so much the overs we have been in quite alot of fights with bigger gangs like Pollok and the Gorbal even though we dont look for trouble.ive been hit with a meat clever and im only 15 but look a bit older so i am always first to get it of gangs.never been anywhere in scotland as tough to live in as glesga though.

when i saw the title of this topic it made me laugh because i was gonna do the same topic. round ere all the teenagers i no love hardcore but that maybe because there is a club in town that play a lot of it and they tend to let underage kids in (there was a recent police raid which nearly led to it being shut down) so that might have something to do with the love of hardcore round ere
