The Launch
Emergence has been throwing hard house/hard-nrg/hardstyle parties for almost a year. With events taking place at the legendary Sanctuary in Birmingham, and now our new home Club Exclusive, the party atmosphere has been created by the DJs and by the clubbers to create some memorable events.
It's now time to diversify our music policies by launching our first sister event, Emergence of Hardcore. We launch on Friday 20th May, and then parties will continue on the third Friday of every month.
Emergence of Hardcore will follow the Emergence ethos of bringing together bigger named DJs, exciting new talent and our own residents. We're also presenting hardcore with a twist - as a general rule they'll be no MCs at our parties. Whilst MCs are great, we're aiming to achieve something slightly different to most other events on the hardcore scene.
First 50 Free
The first 50 people through the doors before 10pm will get in for free! After that, it's £5 for members and £6 for others. If you applied for membership at any of our Turn events, your memberships will be sent out in the post during the next few weeks.

Its goin 2 b the worst hardcore event in the world. Who has ever heard of a rave with no mc's?????
Its just gona b like a hardhouse event only the music will b quicker.
Come on now get it sorted, us ravers love mc's, they get the crowd rockin!!!

We're trying something slightly different - and to be fair, we've had a lot of great feedback about the idea... Why not give us a go and see for yourself if it works? We're challenging the concept of hardcore = MCs + music...
We're trying to reach out to a whole new wave of hardcore clubber - there are so many that say they don't like hardcore, and don't like MCs. From what we've seen, and the tests we've done, many do actually find that they like the music itself. So what we're doing is taking hardcore partying back to being about the music, the clubber and the DJ.
Who knows, in the future, we may add MCs - if that's what our clubbers want. Until then, though, we're going to try our new concept and bring the Emergence party atmosphere to hardcore.
Emergence events aren't about sticking with the "tried and tested" - they're about challenging the definition of clubbing and trying to create our own special events.
As I said before, why not come along, give us a go and then let us know what you think?
