Hi, I'm thinking about starting to do my own hard house and hardcore songs, but I'm not too sure on which progs would be the best onces for me to use.
I have FruityLoops 3.4, Reason, Acid and Cubase SX 2.
Can anyone give me some tips? I've started to use FruityLoops, and it seems ok Cubase, Acid and Reson I have no idea what the **** to do in them LOL

Acid is a difficult and confusing program to use. I tried it myself and ended up with nothing.

try reason! its just soooooo easy to start anything.
for example a beat:
-create new track
- add a "mixer" over the create menue
- add a "dr rex" machine over create menue
- press blue button on the top left
- chose something from the "reason sound bank" in the dr. rex folder
- press the play button in top middle of dr. rex
and voilà u have a beat :)

Ahh yeah, I'm going to have to vote for FruityLoops as well. Totally in love with the program! I won't say that it's better than anything else. But it does have a unique interface that some people (like me) feel better about :)
