hey i dont use reason,
but with fruity, what i found worked was to have a mixture of quick stabs placed on beat and off beat within one bar, then loop that bar and run a filter n automate to how u want it. use a bassy synth stabbish sorta sound usually works for me.

........Juss Passn By ; )........

Rebirth is quite dated.

My acid sounds are from the following 3 devices

1x Subtractor
1x PEQ-2
1x Scream4 Distortion Unit

With the right settings, thats all you'll need :D

Indeed, but the TB303 is alot *more* dated :P

Zippy, you don't need to open Rebirth in Ableton, you can just export a wavloop of what you have done, unless that's what you meant :)

exporting to wav is fine, but it will be hard to tweak it later on as you continue in the production process. If you can create a good 303 sound with a softsynth you'll be much better off, as ryg0r suggested. Not only can you tweak later on, but you can add effects and tweak those as well.
