Ok people, i'm upgrading my carts. What should I get. I've been told that ortofon concorde pro's are pretty good all round for the price (£80 a pair i think). I would prefer concorde shaped carts to be honest, they look well swish and i hate having to faff on with the headshell! So, are the ortofon concorde pro's reliable/hard wearing (i dnt really wanna have to fork out money all the time if they keep breaking)

Cheers guys

i have ortofon Pro (Blues), and i have had them for over two years the needles havnt broken yet, and the sound quality is as good as when i first got them - they stay in the groove even though i pound away scratching at em nightly :)

i loves em

I'd get the OM's. that way you don't have to worry about them not fitting your tone arm properly.

the sound quality on all ortofon's are pretty much the best you can get for the price.

depends on how much wear and tear you are going to be giving these needles. I've had friends go through these like water, but I've had my scratch ones forever (seems like) =P
