Is it possible to do this? i dont mean by editing the whole thing. how i mean is getting a single sample and opening it in fruityloops and being able to make it longer or shorter in the piano roll. or is there any other software you are able to do this in? I know it sounds confusing but if you would like me to send you and example pm me your email.

I know exactly what your talking about.
What you have to do is set loop points (from what I remember about fruity, you have to do thing in an external program)
Once you have the loop points set, you should be fine. You might have to play with the Amp evenlopes too.
