I see it as a good thing, for the music. Bigger labels coming in, they will all want "a piece of the cake", but they cant release 20 CD's mixed by Hixxy, Breeze, Styles, Scott Brown etc. Witch means there will be more variety on the styles and DJ's on the CD's. Well at least i hope it will evolve to that :)
But for you UK people. You might get lots of newbies at raves that dont really know how to behave, witch would be a bad thing for you. Though it could be the other way around.

agree totally whispering.we all moan that we dnt want it to get too big but then we all moaned when the scene was drying up.its a good thing all in all.as for using the same djs all the time i ageree with that too.i would move heaven and earth to c oli g on bonkers or summat.and luna c variety will keep the scene kicking not the same old

The way I see it the bigger the scene gets the better it gets for most involved. People will soon learn that they can't step at of line at a hardcore party as long as everyone makes them aware of it. As for the cd I think it will do some good and probably be an ok release to be honest.

Sounds good yes but will there be any difference in tunes from the new bonkers album or will there be 40 or so different tunes i think not.No harm to Breeze & Styles and of course Hixxy as at the end of the day AATW will chose what they want on the cd.

I think it will be wicked like any other Hardcore CD, it is mixed by Hardcore DJ's just the same, the only thing different is the label it's being released on :)

It'll be interesting, but it's nothing we haven't seen before.

i am looking forward to it, not really the cd, but the fact it might make it more public, hopefully getting more people in the scene can only be a good thing might see some raves start popping up round my end and getting it played in clubs

i dont really know waht to think either?????
i will get the cd, wether its good or not is another matter.
as to the much discussed 'is commercialisation good for hardcore' topic. i basically think it will all be good apart from a few things.
i dont wanna c little pricks at raves misbehaving and......
i dont wanna c a hardcore tune entering the uk charts. coz then u will c hardcore everywhere and tunes will become boring quickly becuase they are overplayed.

We can but hope.
The good news in regards to this Clubland album.... I doubt we'll see many tracks duplicated on Bonkers. Nothing annoys me more than seeing the same tracks used repeatedly while new labels and producers are studiously ignored. I'm actually hoping this album will result in Bonkers being slightly more interesting than has been typical of late.... I'm a perpetual optimist tho :)
Ultimately this CD will get a lot of new people into the scene, the trick is to have an interesting and credible scene to keep 'em hooked. It is arguable that it exists already, but it's very hard to discern that unless you are fairly clued up. The average casual-raver probably thinks there are 5 labels and 10 producers in the entire world doing hardcore. Seriously, heh.

one thing is for sure - this is a huge thing to happen to hardcore.
hardcore is going to get some huge exposure, everybody knows how big the clubland cds are in the UK - and everybody knows that once you start a collection...you just have to get all of them, so the clubland folk are going to get this cd even if they are un-sure about hardcore.
still think i would feel more comfortable about a "hardcore euphoria" than a "clubland extreme hardcore" cd...
this is going to be interesting :P
