jus got v station and working on a new track with it but i cnt seem to find how to bring it in and out of a filter and res?does it do this itself or will i have to apply a filter to its port in mixing channel?

If you're using FL you need to click the Wrapper's menu button (top left corner of the Wrapper) and look in the Edit Events menu, then choose the parameter you want to automate.

That works too. Although, personally, I find it's not as accurate. In saying that, though, it can always be edited later.
